PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent drop in safety caused by disassembly or conversion of a case by a user. SOLUTION: A battery pack is equipped with two or more batteries 31; a current shut off element 50 connected to the batteries in series; two or more unit cases 32 housing the current shut off element 50 and the batteries 31 and connected each other; a disassembly detecting switch 36 detecting the disassembly of the unit cases 32 and outputting a disassembly signal when the unit case 32 is disassembled; and a control circuit 37 shutting off the current shutting off element 50 with the disassembly signal of the disassembly detecting switch 36 to shut off current flowing through the batteries 31.
