A paper separating apparatus of a printing machine is provided to enable a separating member to contact with a heating roller only when a paper passes through the heating roller, thereby significantly reducing the abrasion of the heating roller. A guide(20) forms two plates(21), a long hole(22) and a slit(23). A motor fixing unit(30) forms a spring groove(32), a motor fixing groove(33) and a fixing plate(34). A bi-axial motor(40) has a motor shaft(40) fixed to the plate(21). A movable unit(50) forms a fixing portion(52), a spring support rod(53) and a guide rod(54) and moves along the long hole. A separating member(60) forms a fixing portion(61) and a roller contact portion(62). A transfer bar(70) forms a hole(72) and a long hole(71). A rotating plate(80) forms an axis hole(82) and an eccentricity projection(81).
