<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device designed so as to restrain developer subjected to development from being scooped up onto a developer carrier and prevent nonuniform image density during development, and to provide a process cartridge and image forming apparatus which have the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: Openings 94 which make a recovery conveyance path 7 and a stir conveyance path 10 communicate with each other is disposed upstream of a developer transfer opening in the direction of conveyance of developer along the recovery conveyance path 7, and above the particular height of the recovery conveyance path 7, the developer transfer opening being used to transfer recovery developer from the recovery conveyance path 7 to the stir conveyance path 10. This prevents the quantity of recovery developer in the recovery conveyance path 7 from exceeding the particular height. This restrains the recovery developer from being scooped up on the developer carrier, and hence nonuniform image density during the development is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
