PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein since load torque with respect to a motor is different between full-load operation and control load operation, an electric current value differs between the full-load operation and control-load operation and it is difficult to prevent excessive rise in the temperature inside the compressor, in a multi-cylinder type hermetic compressor capable of changing the capacity to the full-load operation and control load operation. SOLUTION: A first relay for continuously performing opening/closing operation in response to an electric current and temperature and a second relay for continuously performing opening/closing operation in response to temperature are installed. By operating the first relay during the full load operation and the second relay during the control operation, excessive temperature rise is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
