PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fitting an exterior facing material of a building in a narrow area, in particular, by which the exterior facing material is fitted to an exterior wall surface from the inside of the building efficiently and easily, workability in fitting the exterior facing material to an area near a roof surface, in particular, is improved, and a sufficient waterproof property and air permeability are secured. SOLUTION: In the method for fitting the exterior facing material of the building from the inside, a plurality of exterior facing members 45 are vertically fitted in sequence and parallel, and waterproof sheets 42 are arranged on inner face sides of the exterior facing members 45.
