<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure pulsation of delivery pressure by a supply pump with a simple structure, in a common rail fuel injection device. <P>SOLUTION: A common rail fuel injection device 10 including a common rail 30 accumulating fuel pressure-fed from the supply pump 10 and an injector 40 injecting fuel supplied from the common rail 30 into a cylinder is provided with an additional rail 20 between the supply pump 10 and the common rail 30. Also, section area of a high pressure fuel passage connecting the additional rail and the common rail is set to 50% or less of section area of a high pressure fuel passage connecting the common rail and the injector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
