THERMAL POWER GENERATION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thermal power generation equipment in which the problem of black smoke contained in exhaust gas can be solved, early deterioration of a thermoelectric element can be prevented and exchange can easily be performed.

SOLUTION: An exhaust port of an engine 1 is connected to a muffler 3 through an exhaust pipe 2. A ceramic filter 4 holding oxidation catalyst which performs cleaning treatment by burning black smoke is incorporated in a casing 3ca of the muffler 3. A plurality of heat pipes 5 inserted from a rear part of the casing 3ca are inserted into the casing 3ca on a downstream side from the ceramic filter 4 by halves. The thermoelectric element 6 converting heat into electricity is installed in half of an external part of the muffler in the heat pipes 5.
