摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid phase synthetic method by which metal oxide nanoparticles stably dispersing in an organic solvent for dispersion and having a rutile-type crystal structure can be produced in a good productivity. <P>SOLUTION: This production method of the metal oxide nanoparticles includes: a step (A) for preparing a reaction solution by mixing a first metal alkoxide composed of a first metal, a second metal alkoxide composed of a second metal different from the first metal, and the surfactant in an inert atmosphere; and a step (B) for mixing the reaction solution with a reaction initiator prepared by mixing a catalyst and a solvent and then heating the resulting mixture in an inert atmosphere, thereby obtaining the metal oxide nanoparticles each surface of which is coated with a surfactant and which has a rutile-type crystal structure based on the first metal atom, the second metal atom and oxygen atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
