The arrangement (1) has a friction unit (8) formed as a deflection unit that is movable against a retainer (9), where the retainer is arranged at a suspended pedal (2). The friction unit is deflectable relative to the pedal during movement of the pedal, and is oriented in longitudinal extension of the pedal or in acute angle to the pedal. The retainer is laterally shifted against position of the pedal. A return spring (6) presses the friction unit transverse to its longitudinal extending direction, and presses the friction unit against a fixed part or a housing wall (7).
