<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control device, method and program that can perform imposition processing in consideration of paper size, user needs and post processing processes. <P>SOLUTION: An imposition definition selection part selects imposition definitions appropriate for print data imposition processing from imposition definitions stored in an imposition definition storage part. Basic imposition definitions are selected first, and the size of paper loaded in a printer is checked against the size of paper required by the basic imposition definitions. If they match, an imposition processing part imposes print data according to the basic imposition definitions. Otherwise, new imposition definitions are selected from the imposition definitions stored in the imposition definition storage part according to automatic imposition change permission information and automatic change prohibition information in the basic imposition definitions, and the imposition processing part imposes the data according to the new selected imposition definitions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
