<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support device for improving safety in such circumstances that a driver does not perform any proper driving operation to a traveling environment. <P>SOLUTION: In this operation support device mounted on a vehicle for performing control for preventing collision or for reducing any collision impact according to the possibility of collision between its own vehicle and an object in front of its own vehicle, when it is decided that it is difficult for its own vehicle to stop at a temporary stop spot where it should temporarily stop ahead of the traveling direction of its own vehicle, warning is output, and the performance start timing of control for preventing the collision or for reducing the collision impact is more quickened than a normal time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
