PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver, an electronic program information display method therein, an electronic program information display program, and a recording medium, capable of improving visibility of a television image, while a televiewer can finish reading information even in the case that there is much amount of information displayed when the televiewer changes a channel. SOLUTION: The television receiver is provided with a tuner, an EPG information acquisition system for acquiring electronic program information, and a control device 51 for displaying electronic program information on an image display device. The control device 51 comprises: an electronic program information acquisition section 511 for acquiring electronic program information corresponding to a television broadcasting signal; an information amount calculator 512 for calculating an information amount of electronic program information; a display time setting section 513 for setting up display time of electronic program information corresponding to this amount of information; and an information display unit 514 for deleting the indication of the information, after displaying electronic program information on the image display device during set-up indication time.
