PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling driving force of a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of more accurately controlling distribution ratio of the driving force to front and rear wheels, matching real vehicle condition. SOLUTION: Slip angle and yaw rate of a vehicle body are detected, and in the case wherein direction of the slip angle and the yaw rate coincide with each other, driving force to be distributed to the front wheels is set relatively large, and in the case wherein direction of the slip angle and the yaw rate are different from each other, driving force to be distributed to the rear wheels is set relatively large, and in the case wherein direction of the slip angle and the yaw rate coincide with each other and wherein an absolute value of the slip angle is a predetermined value or more, driving force to be distributed to the front wheels is set relatively large.
