PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply controller for an electric vehicle wherein, when the safety of a vehicle is ensured and the influence of collision on the vehicle is minor, a system is restarted as much as possible so that the vehicle can be run to avert imminent danger. SOLUTION: The power supply controller includes: a collision detecting means (Step S2) for detecting a collision of a vehicle; a power supply interrupting means (Step S28) for, when a collision of the vehicle is detected, interrupting power supply from a heavy-current battery to a motor; a G sensor for detecting collision G produced when the vehicle collides; an influence on heavy-current system determining means (Step S31) for determining the degree of the influence of the collision on the heavy-current system of the vehicle based on the detected collision G; and a power supply interruption canceling means (Step S32) for, when the influence of the collision on the heavy-current system of the vehicle is determined to be low, canceling the interruption of power supply by the power supply interrupting means.
