The invention relates to a sealing element for a lightweight structural panel (6) which is formed from two cover panels (8) and a central layer (9) arranged therebetween, having an outer portion (1), wherein the outer portion (1) has a height (Hi) which corresponds at least to the distance between those surfaces of the cover panels (8) which are directed away from the central layer (9), and having an inner portion (2), in the case of which those sides of the portion (2) which are directed away from one another are spaced apart by a distance (H2) which corresponds at least to the distance between those surfaces of the cover panels (8) which are directed towards the central layer (9), wherein the outer portion (1) is formed integrally with the inner portion (2), and this sealing element solves the problem of being able to protect narrow surfaces (10) and central layers (9) in a straightforward and individual manner. |
