Provided is an electromagnetic relay of which adjustment of operating characteristics and manufacture of parts are simple and easy. A method and a system for adjusting such electromagnetic relay are also provided. A movable iron core (61) is permitted to abut to a fixed iron core (46) against the spring force of a returning spring (45), by pressing the movable contact block (60). Then, after bringing the movable contacts (65, 66) of the movable contact piece (64) into contact with fixed contacts (55a, 56a), the movable contact block (60) is pressed by a prescribed quantity to follow the contact against the spring force of a contact-pressure spring (63), and the fixed iron core (46) is positioned on a yoke (40) by the movable iron core (61). Furthermore, the fixed iron core (43) is fixed and integrated with the yoke (40).
