A head-up display system using a MOST network and a control method thereof are provided to receive a signal from an infrared camera or radar and transmit an image signal to a liquid crystal display via the MOST network. An image signal input unit(10) receives signals, and decodes an image signal corresponding to the received signal to output it to a micom(20). The micom stores the image signal in a memory(30), and outputs a control signal to convert the image signal which is suitable for a MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) communication. A MOST signal generator(40) converts the image signal under the control of the micom. An optical fiber transceiver(50) transmits the image signal to an image monitoring apparatus(60).
