<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to purify air, adjust atmospheric temperature and humidity, and capture harmful insects by the combination of a fan coated with photocatalyst, excitation light sources, a water tank and a net, and to provide a device used for this method. <P>SOLUTION: The propeller is coated with photocatalyst. One or more excitation light sources are installed facing the propeller at positions just outside the outermost circle drawn in the plane perpendicular to the propeller rotation axis by its vane tips when rotating. By this, organisms, etc. in air can be decomposed by the activity of photocatalyst. A brush is attached on the propeller, and the brush comes into contact with the excitation sources and cleans the propeller during its rotation. An evaporation promoter combined with a water supply tank is placed facing the ventilation side to promote water evaporation. A net is attached to an exhaust port behind them to capture harmful insects coming attracted by an ultraviolet light and the fan in operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
