POLYVINYL ACETAL-BASED POWDER COATING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl acetal-based powder coating which can be produced at a low cost, can form a coating film excellent in tinting by pigments and excellent also in flowability.

SOLUTION: The powder coating is produced by dry-blending a polyvinyl acetal powder (A) and a pigment powder (B) and satisfies the following conditions: (1) the melt flow rate of the powder (A) measured based on the provisions of JIS K 7210:1999 is 1-200 g/10 minutes; (2) the mean particle diameter (AD) of the powder (A) is 10-150μm and the maximum particle diameter is 250μm or less; (3) the mean particle diameter (BD) of the powder (B) is 2-150μm and the maximum particle diameter is 250μm or less; (4) ¾AD-BD¾<100; and (5) the weight ratio (B)/(A) of the powder (B) to the powder (A) is 1/100-50/100.
