<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book delivery system which can prevent resale of book data, prevent entering of a secondhand market, and obtain a profit, and an electronic book display device suitable for a cellular phone for displaying the book data. <P>SOLUTION: A central control server 2 converts a book to digital data every page, then collects them as book data compressed every volume, creates a table where each book data is associated with bibliographic information of the book corresponding to the book data, and stores the bibliographic information corresponding to each book data. A user having an electronic book display device 5 capable of depressing the compressed book data accesses the central control server 2 via a mobile communication machine 3 using the electronic book display device 5, and selects book data desired to be purchased from the bibliographic information of each book data displayed on the electronic book display device 5.
