PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transpiration apparatus capable of appropriately controlling the transpiration amount of a transpiration member without using a heater. SOLUTION: A transpiration unit (30) is provided with a transpiration sheet (32) holding microcapsules (32b), a gear (33) for moving the transpiration sheet (32) forward and backward, a motor (34) for driving the gear (33) and a controller (39). When the temperature of air flowing through an air path (18) becomes low, the controller (39) rotates the motor (34) and advances the transpiration sheet (32) to the side of the air path (18). As a result, the exposure area of the transpiration sheet (32) facing the air path (18) is enlarged and the transpiration amount of the transpiration sheet (32) increases.
