PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable thermoplastic resin composition wherein in the case when the crosslinking reaction is carried out with an organic peroxide, the deterioration of the resin, the additives and the filler is suppressed and the improvement of physical properties is efficiently effected by the crosslinking, the productivity is improved by reducing the adhesion to a kneader, and the greasiness of the surface of the molded product can be inhibited, and provide a method for producing the same and molded product thereof. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin (100 pts.mass) and 0.001 to 2 pts.mass of an organic peroxide having 1 minute half-life temperature of less than 165°C are molten and kneaded and resultant thermoplastic resin has a peak top melting temperature of less than 150°C on the most high temperature side of the DSC melting curve, and 10 to 300 pts.mass of a metal hydrate is added to 100 pts.mass of the thermoplastic resin wherein the metal hydrate is magnesium hydroxide.
