<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge and an electrode member capable of effectively suppressing the occurrence of a charge memory even in case of mounting the process cartridge on an image forming apparatus body and transporting both in the same packing, and to provide an image forming apparatus having them. <P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic charge electrode plate 121 and a development electrode plate 131 of the process cartridge 1 are moved from a first position which is a position to short a photoreceptor drum and a conductive member to a second position which is a position usable by opening the short-circuit. When the process cartridge 1 is discretely packed or the process cartridge 1 and the image forming apparatus body are simultaneously packed and transported, the electrostatic charge electrode plate 121 and the development electrode plate 131 are held in the first position and thereby the occurrence of the electrostatic charge memory due to shortcircuiting is obviated even if the surrounding members are frictionally charged by the vibration, impact, etc., during transportation and even if the conductive member approximate to the photoreceptor drum 11 is discharged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
