PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make release paper easily peelable, which release paper is applied to a double-sided tape for attaching a protective plate covering LCD (liquid crystal display), so as to increase efficiency of attaching work of protective plate for a liquid crystal display part, in a production process of the liquid crystal display parts. SOLUTION: The double-sided tape comprises a mount 31, a paste part 2 formed on the mount 31, and a release paper covering the paste part, and has a hole 33 matching with the size of an opening part of an outer case 101 to which a protective plate of LCD is attached. The release paper 32 and the paste part 2 are formed like a ring-like form surrounding the periphery of the hole 33, wherein the release paper 32 has a first notch 34 obtained by notching with a predetermined width a part of the ring-like form from the out side to the inner side of the release paper to expose the paste part 2. And the release paper 32 has a second notch 35 obtained by notching a part of the out side or the inner side of the ring-like form, and these notches are combined to form an upside-down T type form.
