<p>A pneumatic tire in which both lightweight and durability of a belt are satisfied highly by suppressing occurrence of belt edge separation while reducing the weight of the tire. Both the first belt layer (5a) in the first layer and the second belt layer (5b) in the second layer of the belt are buried in a coating rubber (8) while being juxtaposed in the belt width direction in a unit of an arranged bundle of five to seven monofilament cords (6) having a filament diameter of 0.18-0.26 mm, wherein the gauge of a rubber layer between the monofilament cords (6) of the first and second belt layers at the end of the second belt layer is 1.3-3.0 times as large as the gauge at the central portion of the tire.</p> |
