A safety device and an opening/closing apparatus are provided to improve safety and reliability by controlling incidence of malfunction of a safety device. The safety device comprises a support unit, a responsive body, and a hole unit. The support unit is formed in the main body side corresponding to the contacting unit in the moving body side. The responding body keeps repeat shaking through an elastic material corresponding to the support unit. In addition, the hole unit is faced to the contacting unit in a closed position of the movable body and into which the contacting unit is inserted when the moving body is converted to a release position. When inertial force is applied, the position of the hole unit is displaced by reciprocate shaking of the responding body, then the contacting unit is closely contacted to positions except for the hole unit, so that it is possible to convert the close position of the moving body to the release position.
