PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a route in a channel switch device according to an access state without affecting a high-order device. SOLUTION: In a fiber channel switch 1, a group port setting part 2 logically automatically groups a plurality of physical ports to set a group port in response to an instruction of a manager from a console terminal 20. An access route management information setting part 4 performs zoning based on group port information, and sets access route management information. A load measuring section 6, during operation of the storage system, periodically measures the load state such as an operation state of each port, data quantity, and response time. An access route switching section 7 determines the access route switching by a physical port belonging to the group port based on the measurement result of the load state, and the access route is changed so that the load brings a balance.
