A method for the production of plastic parts (I) by injecting a molten thermoplastic molding material (II) into a mold cavity (14), in which the material (II) contains particles which are heated up directly by the action of alternating electrical and/or magnetic fields (E/M fields) in parts (at least) of the mold cavity (14). Independent claims are included for (1) a device for the production of (I) comprising a mold (12) with a cavity (14), feed channel(s) (16) for material (II) and means (18) of generating an alternating E/M field acting at least partly in the cavity (14), in which at least those parts of the mold (12) which are exposed to the field and in direct thermal contact with the cavity (14) are designed so that they are not substantially heated by the action of the field (2) thermoplastic molding materials (II) containing particles as above .
