A variable intake valve is provided to reduce the number of components by sealing the gap formed between an opening of a surge tank support unit and a valve shaft of the variable intake valve through a bush made of a Teflon material. A valve shaft(20a) of a variable intake valve(20) is attached to a surge tank support unit(10). The surge tank support unit has an opening(11) for fitting the valve shaft. The valve shaft of the variable intake valve has an outer surface equipped with a bush(30) such that the valve shaft is supported by the bush. The bush is interposed between the outer surface of the valve shaft and an inner surface of the opening of the surge tank support unit.
