An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reinforce the support main with a metal cover of stainless steel to form an existing bottom cover and a support main integrally, thereby removing the necessity of using the existing bottom cover and accordingly reducing an entire thickness of the LCD module. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module comprises an LC panel(110), a backlight unit(120), a support main(130) and a top cover(140). The backlight unit is placed in the rear of the LC panel and supplies light to the LC panel. The support main comprises a rectangular frame(132) for laminating and receiving the LC panel and the backlight unit, and a metal cover(134) formed along the girth of an outer side wall and the bottom of the rectangular frame. The top cover is coupled with a side part of the support main by surrounding a front edge of the LC panel. |
