A distribution board cover comprises a cover member 10, a magnet 36 for attaching to a distribution board housing 34, and at least one hinge 12, 14 mounted to the cover member 10. Each hinge 12,14 can be connected to the distribution board housing by the magnet 36, providing a temporary distribution board cover. The cover is useful when live testing of an electrical installation is performed and the distribution board must be left unattended. In such circumstances, regulations may require that the distribution board is covered: the cover of the invention can easily be removed and replaced using the magnets 36 without using e.g. screw fixings. This saves time in the test process. |
