A child monitoring system comprising a mat with an electrically powered pressure sensitive border 1. When a child attempts to leave the mat an alarm is triggered by sending a signal to a receiver 3 which may be fixed to the belt of the parent or guardian using a clip 7. The alarm may be set to ring or vibrate or both using a setting switch 4. The system may be powered by battery 2 or mains power. |
