In an arrangement of cases as for electronic equipment slidable within a casing or cabinet 1 each case or box 9 has runners 11 projecting from the upper and lower surfaces of the case to engage guide rails 7 which are of nylon and have flexible longitudinal ribs 15 on the inside of the channel web 13 of each rail 7, the ribs being deflected outwards by runners 11 so that the latter slide smoothly but without play. The rails 7 may be secured to the casing 1 by means of studs 17 inserted in apertures 19 in the casing and deformed by a heated tool. If desired the rails may be mounted on the cases 9 and the runners on casing 1. |
