A mirror operated by a camera, and a product sale system and method thereby are provided to enable a user to check his or her left/right/front/back appearance while the user is wearing various products, to store images of the appearances, to select products via exchange of views with other persons, and to order the purchase of the products for user to select the products who go well with him or her. A mirror operated by a camera comprises a camera(1), a display(2), a processor(3), a storage unit(4), a transmitting unit(5), and a controller(6). The display(2) displays images captured by the camera(1) on a screen in real time. The processor(3) processes and compresses the images. The storage unit(4) stores the processed images. The transmitting unit(5) transmits the stored images via a network. The controller(6) controls each component. The mirror enable a user to see his or her appearance, to display the stored plural images sequentially or concurrently at the user's request, to compare the plural images with one another, and to check the images at a remote place.
