The engine (10) has a blowing line (70) that injects air into an exhaust line (30) at a pressure greater than pressure of gas circulating in the exhaust line. The line (70) is provided between a compressor (42) of a turbocompressor (40) and an air distributor (21) and opens out into the line (30). The line (70) has an air flow regulation valve (71) e.g. butterfly valve, placed at a junction between a fresh air inlet line (20) and the line (70). The valve modulates the blown air flow circulating in the line (70) and opens into the line (30).
