PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display panel enhancing yield by suppressing deficiency from being generated at a process for dividing the individual display panels from a mother substrate. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the display panel has a process for dividing a strip-like substrate 9 arranged with a plurality of the display panels 4 from the mother substrate 1 in one row, and dividing the individual display panels 4 from the strip-like substrate. Before dividing the individual display panel from the strip-like panel, a crack line 15 is formed to the outside rather than the display panels 4a and 4e positioned at both the outsides between the display region 5 of the display panel and a lead terminal part 6, but not formed up to an end 9b of the strip-like substrate.
