PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner which is made small in size, low in cost and improved in productivity and can form a high-definition image in the optical scanner provided with an optical deflector. SOLUTION: The optical scanner, in which light rays emitted from a light source is reflected and the reflected light rays are allowed to scan an object, is provided with: the light source which emits light rays; lenses which converge the light rays emitted form the light source; an oscillation mirror unit which is provided with a mirror which reflects the light converged with the lenses and a driving part which turns or oscillates the mirror around a predetermined turning axis; and a substrate on the face of which the light source, the lenses and the oscillation mirror unit are arranged.
