PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing measurement values of presence or concentration of gas separated in time, and to improve the response action without altering the design condition with this method. SOLUTION: The method to be used for a gas sensor device 100 is the method of processing the measurement values separated in time capable of displaying a time characteristic by an exponential function, and uses a measurement value filter 109. For specifying the method of processing the measurement values separated in time, measurement values of a detector unit 108 recorded with time interval (Δt) are converted into an output function (z(t)) that similarly follows the exponential function, has an altered time constant, and is separated in time. For calculating an output value, the sum of a first measurement value and a load difference between a second measurement value and the first measurement value is calculated, and the sum value is used as an output value.
