<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard that impurities are mixed into a fuel cell, and adjust an amount of water in a cathode gas regarding a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: This is the fuel cell system provided with a humidifier 30. The humidifier 30 is provided with a humidifying room 36 in which a cathode off gas discharged from the cathode of the fuel cell is made to be circulated. The humidifier 30 is provided with a humidified room 40 in which the cathode gas supplied to the cathode of the fuel cell is made to be circulated. The humidifying room 30 is provided with a steam permeation film 38 between the humidifying room 36 and the humidified room 40, and carries out transfer of water from the humidifying room 36 to the humidified room 40 via the steam permeation film 38. A gas passage 41 to connect a tube passage to make the cathode off gas flow into the humidifying room and a tube passage to make the cathode off gas flow out of the humidifying room is provided.
