<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently detecting a mismatch between a control nucleic acid and a target nucleic acid. <P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting the mismatch between the control nucleic acid and the target nucleic acid to form a double-stranded nucleic acid through hybridization of the control nucleic acid and the target nucleic acid, allow a mismatch binding protein to contact with the double-stranded nucleic acid and thereby to bind to a mismatched site, allow an intercalating agent having electrochemical activity to contact with the double-stranded nucleic acid and measure an amount of inserted agent inserted into the double-stranded nucleic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
