发明名称 METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GLASS ARTICLE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a glass article containing regions where the degree of coloring is different from each other, wherein reduction of the degree of coloring by metal particulates can be achieved by lower energy. SOLUTION: A glass article to be applied with voltage comprises a glass plate and a thin film formed thereon, wherein the glass plate has a higher conductivity than the thin film which contains metal particulates. The glass article is applied with voltage with the thin film and the glass plate arranged between an anode and a cathode for applying voltage, thereby ionizing at least part of the metal particulates in the thin film in the region where voltage is applied. In order that the glass plate has a higher conductivity than the thin film, the glass plate and the thin film may have compositions which develop different conductivities from each other. For example, the glass plate may contain an alkali metal element, and the content of the alkali metal element in the glass plate may be higher than that in the thin film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
