Process to enhance the heating of conversion gas in steel production by heating conversion gases with a combination of natural gas and oxygen

In a steel smelting process, hot converter gases are further heated by the introduction of fuel gases incorporating hydrogen and oxygen. The fuel gas is natural gas. The oxygen content represents up to 35 per cent of the natural gas volume up to 10 Nm3 per 100 Nm3 hot gas.
