<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an accurate object in a short building time in a solid imaging device using a solidifying liquid building material which forms a three-dimensional object layer by layer from cross-sectional data. <P>SOLUTION: A solidifying liquid building material distribution machine 13, a building material carrier 11 which receives a liquid building material 47 from the building material distribution machine 13 to a first surface by a fluid wedge, a radiation source which acts to solidify the liquid building material 47 selectively, and a building material carrier tension adjustment means for controlling the tension of the building material carrier 11 when the building material carrier 11 rotates around a prescribed route and passes through the opening 45 of the building material distribution machine 13 which is effective in controlling the liquid wedge 50 so that the layer of the building material 47 received by the building material carrier 11 is made thick when the tension is low, and the layer of the building material 47 received by the building material carrier 11 is made thin when the tension is high are combined and provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
