An apparatus for producing a heat insulation material is provided to increase the drying efficiency of a heat insulation material, to reduce the time required for drying the heat insulation material, to facilitate quality control of the heat insulation material, and to allow recycle of a waste heat insulation material. An apparatus for producing a heat insulation material comprises: a hopper section(110) to which foam particles are introduced; a conveying section(120) for receiving the foam particles from the hopper section and conveying the foam particles; a mold(140) receiving the foam particles and having a desired shape; and a magnetron(151) for supplying microwaves to the foam particles. The apparatus optionally further comprises a spraying section(130) connected to the conveying section for spraying at least one of an adhesive or water to the foam particles under pressure.
