A foldable battery-powered massage device. The device can be remote-controlled and used in conjunction with chairs, vehicle seats, wheelchairs, beds, aircraft seats, arena seats, etc. A central flexible support surface includes electrically powered vibrating massage elements which provide therapy for the portion of an individual's body that they are applied to. Power is supplied by a removable battery which is secured to a sleeve on the flexible surface. An optional handheld remote control is also provided to allow the user to conveniently control activation, deactivation, speed, the portions of the support surface which are activated, etc.
