Household appliance comprising an outer casing (2) provided with a worktop (3), and at least a drying surface (8) having a plurality of apertures (7) fluidly connected with conveying means adapted to deliver a flow of air through said apertures (7) for drying garments placed over said drying surface (8); said worktop (3) comprises an extendable/collapsible structure (15) adapted to define a drying cabinet for accommodating garments to be dried, said drying surface (8) forming the bottom of the drying cabinet so as to blow air directly into said drying cabinet.
