A method and an apparatus for monitoring data in an EAI(Enterprise Application Integration) service are provided to check whether to interwork between heterogeneous systems for the EAI service is possible previously and exactly by performing service level monitoring under actual data transmission environment. A method for monitoring data comprises the following steps of: inputting a test message, which can be transmitted to a receiving system via a hub, to a transmitting system(S100); and checking whether there is a transmission error by checking whether the test message is received or a receiving state of the test message for the receiving system(S130). The test message is inputted to a transmitting queue. It is checked whether the test message reaches a receiving queue. The receiving state is checked by acquiring the test message when the test message is included in the receiving queue.
