PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rise in a machine room due to insufficient capacity of an indoor unit even in coolant amount detection operation, and to suppress malfunction of apparatuses of the machine room. SOLUTION: A coolant circuit 10, and operation control means 8, 8a are provided. The coolant circuit is composed by connecting a heat source unit 2, a plurality of utilization units 3a-3c, and expansion mechanisms V2, V9a-V9c. The heat source unit has a compressor 21, and a heat source side heat exchanger 22. The utilization units have utilization side heat exchangers 31a-31c. The operation control means can carry out coolant amount determination operation carrying out control of constructional apparatuses such that a first state value becomes a first control desired value. In the operation control means, during the coolant amount determination operation, of the plurality of utilization units, cooling capacity is maintained of the first utilization unit 3c carrying air conditioning of a predetermined space.
