PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo-cornice illumination structure in which a beam of the attic does not become obstruction of light source installment, in which there is no need of reducing ceiling height, and in which indirect illumination action at the same level as cornice illumination can be made. SOLUTION: A recessed place 3 opening upward is installed at the upper end part of a partition wall 1, the recessed place 3 is opened sideward at the upper end side, a light source 4 is installed in the recessed place 3, a first reflecting part 5 is provided upward the recessed place 3, a second reflecting place 6 is installed at the ceiling side in an embedded state, and light from the light source 4 which has been reflected at the first reflecting part 5 is reflected at the second reflecting part 6 and illuminates a wall face 1a of the partition wall 1.
