PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing mechanism which realizes the heating and the pressurization at a low cost, and at the same time, can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: This printing mechanism is equipped with a printing paper feeding mechanism (36), a thermal head (33), and a pressure mechanism (70). In this case, the printing paper feeding mechanism (36) relatively feeds out a sheet-form medium (40) by a frictional force to the sheet-form medium (40). The thermal head (33) can perform a local heating to a surface in the sheet-form medium (40). The pressure mechanism (70) controls a pressure which is locally applied to the surface of the sheet-form medium (40). The pressure mechanism (70) can control at least two stages of a high pressure state to the sheet-form medium (40) and a low pressure state of which the pressure is lower than that of the high pressure state.
